ASCEND  is P2's largest customer community event. It provides attendees with a professional, diverse, and high-quality program that encourages knowledge expansion and networking. Each year, ASCEND attracts more than 500 oil and gas professionals and offers  over 100 sessions to attendees. This year's ASCEND takes place at the JW Marriott Hill Country hotel in San Antonio, TX from November 13-15.

Speakers for the conference range from intermediate to advanced end-users of P2 products to senior managers, C-level executives, P2 partners, leading industry consultants, and thought leaders.  An ideal speaker is: 
• Any person with an interest in or experience with P2 solutions and/or services.
• Interested in sharing expertise, real-world experiences, and knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups of 30 or more and engaging with attendees.

WHO SHOULD APPLY TO SPEAK?

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines: 

  • Submissions must be received electronically no later than July 10, 2017. Notification of acceptance will be announced on or before July 17, 2017.
  • Submissions must include a category, session title, informative session description, and a speaker biography.
  • Descriptions must be one paragraph and no longer than 100 words each (accepted submissions with descriptions longer than 100 words will be edited without notice).
  • Biographies must be no longer than 100 words each (accepted submissions with biographies longer than 100 words will be edited without notice).
  • Sessions are 50 minutes in length. It's suggested that you plan to leave 10 minutes for questions.

For submissions that are accepted:

  • Final presentations are due October 13, 2017.
  • Final presentations are to be submitted in the ASCEND 2017 powerpoint template. This will be provided upon acceptance of submission.
  • Only the primary presenter of an accepted presentation will have the conference fee waived; any and all co-presenters will be required to pay a registration fee.
  • No honoraria or travel expense reimbursement will be provided for any presenter.
  • The standard audio/visual equipment provided in each presentation room includes one laptop computer which will be pre-loaded with your presentation, one LCD projector, one screen, and one microphone. If additional equipment is needed, it will be the responsibility of the presenter to make arrangements through the on-site AV company and provide payment for such equipment.
